From an idea… to WOMADE… to We Rise.

People often ask: how did this all begin? The truth is — I didn’t set out to be an entrepreneur. I simply felt compelled to create something different. When I got pregnant with my daughter Ella, something deep inside me shifted. I began a journey of self-development, feminism, and becoming my true self. I had experienced female rivalry, competition, and the loneliness that often comes with it — and I couldn’t imagine passing that down to her. I wanted her to grow up in a world where women lift each other up, where sisterhood is real and powerful. That’s when I started questioning the norms I had accepted and began reshaping my own beliefs.

Another important reason why I created WOMADE and We Rise is because I’ve felt that deep solitude that can come when you’re holding a business idea and thinking, where do I even start? Can I do this? Why me? I remember working on a previous project and feeling so unsure, so isolated. I didn't feel connected nor belonging to the existing community clubs. That’s when I realized: we need more spaces where we can connect women from arm horizons, share resources, get inspired, and grow — together.

 

So I created what I longed for:

WOMADE – A warm, women-centered coworking space in Brussels, where you can work, connect, create, and feel at home. A space that proves: sisterhood exists, and something magic happens when women support women. 

We Rise – A safe space for sorority, a n extension of WOMADE, without the physical space. A community for women in business, blending mindset, strategy, vision, and connection.

The path hasn’t always been clear — it's been messy, honest, and full of transformation. But it's also been carried by community, clarity, and the power of women coming together.
