Code of conduct

WE RISE is building and nurturing community around values of sorority, genuine support, love, respect, kindness, empathy, inclusion and absolutely zero tolerance for any discriminatory behavior and words.

 

Our community come from many different backgrounds and career paths hence we must be mindful of our differences and nuances.

We expect community members to be respectful to differences of goals, knowledge levels, ambition but also culture, languages, religion, race, social class, gender expression, disability, etc.

 

This code of conduct applies to all We Rise spaces, including our online platform, Slack, mailing lists, and physical events. Anyone who violates this code of conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from these spaces at the discretion of the We Rise Team.

 

Problematic behaviors include (non-exhaustive list) :

- misconduct with other community members and board members ;

- use of offensive language ;

- repetitive behavior that clashes with the values of We Rise i.e. not respecting basic rules, cutting others off aggressively, expressing violent behavior.
